Jessica graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health science majoring in Psychology. She has a passion for helping others, which has seen her work in varying roles, including as a health care assistant, telehealth advisor and now in education, helping students to achieve their academic goals. The highlight of her role is getting to chat about psychology everyday with students!! Outside of work, you can find Jessica hanging out with her horses, on an epic outdoor adventure or with my nose in a novel.

The opportunity to support and guide students who share the same interest in Psychology is what Angie loves about being a tutor at TCA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, and a minor in Social Sciences. Whilst studying, she spent her time in customer service, and youth work in churches and the local community. She worked six years in the health industry alongside Speech Language Therapy in a brain injury rehabilitation that piqued her interest in the direction of education. The more we understand psychology, the better equipped we are in an evolving world. She has two young children who keep her on my toes and enjoys travelling both locally and overseas, immersing herself in new environments – what doesn’t challenge you, won’t help you grow!

Rita is a Psychology, Administration & Management Tutor with a bachelor’s in psychology. She has worked in administrative roles and as a behavioural therapist, along with over 5 years of experience working as a tutor. These experiences enable Rita to support students’ learning and assist them to achieve their career goals and gain new opportunities. Outside of work, Rita enjoys spending time with her dogs, hiking, traveling, and watching films and shows.

Hiromi found the perfect work-life balance after enrolling in The Career Academy’s Certificate in Bookkeeping. As a busy mum, the flexibility of online study allowed her to pursue her dream career while caring for her family. Upon completing her course, she secured a role with The Back Office Company and began her journey in a new profession.

Cameron Young transformed his passion for dogs into a successful mobile dog grooming service. With everything from a full grooming table to a hydro-bath, he brings the salon directly to his client’s homes, making it easier for those with limited time or mobility. Cameron’s journey started with The Career Academy’s Diploma in Dog Grooming, which equipped him with the skills and confidence to launch his business.

Despite facing health challenges, Christine pursued a career in medical reception through The Career Academy. The Certificate in Medical Reception provided her with the skills and confidence to work in a medical practice, allowing her to increase her workload and achieve her professional goals.

Jill made the most of her time during the COVID lockdown by upskilling through The Career Academy’s Certificate in Bookkeeping. Now, with official qualifications, she’s well on her way to becoming a professional bookkeeper while continuing to enjoy life on the road.

Ashley transitioned from hospitality to the medical field after completing The Career Academy’s Medical Reception & Terminology course. Her newfound passion for the medical field is leading her to pursue further studies in midwifery, all thanks to the flexibility of online learning.
